Bridal Shower Games

Here is a list of tried and tested bridal shower games guaranteed to be a hit. Some of them naughty, some nice. Games for every occasion. Have a read through and see what you can find.

Recipe for Love

Give all your guests a nice piece of stationary and ask them to write down what they think is a good recipe for love and marriage. Once everyone is finished have the bride read them all out and guess who they are from. It's always nice to get a special book to keep all these pieces of wisdom and photos of the bridal shower games moments.

Design a Wedding Dress

For this bridal game you will need several toilet rolls. When the guests arrive divide them up in groups of 3 or 4. Each group get a model, good choices are the groom or mother of the bride. The groups are told they have 5 minutes to design a wedding dress out of the toilet paper(allow them 10 minutes). They can add all sorts of accessories as long as they are all made from toilet paper. The bride has lots of fun watching and taking pictures, and once everyone is finished, she must choose the winner.

Strip Tease

Wedding ShowersThis bridal shower game sounds naughty, but actually it's quite nice and a whole lot of fun. Have a cardboard cutout of a man fully dressed in all sorts of men's clothing. During the shower each guest is asked an intimate question about the "stripper". Once the guest answers they are allowed to remove a piece of clothing. The funniest is when the last piece of clothing is removed and only a fig leaf is left. It will be very hard for people to resist temptation, so write something funny underneath the leaf such as "You Naughty Girl!"

Design a Veil

This is a variation on the "Design a wedding Dress" game, just as fun but a lot quicker. Guests should get into groups of 3 to 4. Before the shower purchase items such as toilet paper, ribbons, silk flowers, cellophane etc. Use one member of the group and design a veil for her. The bride decides on the winner of this bridal shower game and must then wear the winning veil during the present opening. Make sure to take pictures as they can make amusing memories.

The Bridal Shower Shoe Game

Wedding ShowersAn ice breaker of note! Go round and ask each guest for one of their shoes. Place them all in the centre of the room. Assign the guests their own secret number and tell them that once they hear it that must dash across and collect their shoe. The trick of this bridal shower game is to assign everyone the same number, when you call it out, everyone will dash out to get their shoe. It's a real scream!

Who am I?

Wedding ShowersThis is a really fantastic bridal shower game. Before the guests arrive prepare a set of index cards writing the name a of a different famous person on each of them. As the guests arrive pin the card to their backs without them seeing what was written on it. The aim of the game is for the guests to find out which famous person they are by asking others questions that can only be answered yes or no. The first three people to guess correctly will get a prize. This is a great way for guests who do not know each other to mingle.

Lucky Legs

Here's a co-ed bridal shower game. Select several men from the party, including the groom. Blindfold the bride and tell her that she has to guess which legs belong to her hubbie to be. Lets see how well the bride knows her man!

"I never..."

This is a game that get very exciting very quickly. Assign each guest a handful of Jelly Beans, make sure everyone has the same amount(normally around 15). Everyone takes a turn to make a true statement that begins with "I never..." If this phrase is also true for another guest they must then eat a Jelly Bean. The person with the most Jelly Bean at the end wins. Try asking some racy questions and see who eat their bean! You will learn all sorts of new things about your friends from this bridal shower game!
